Thursday 16/9
Dlilanga High School, in Hlabisa was todays first stop. Here are some of the curious students wondering what is going on.

All for today, tomorrow we will continue with some schools in Hluhluwe.

Wednesday 15/9
Today we had to go a bit longer to reach the school Zenzeleni Mashamse High School in Empangeni.

Tuesday 14/9
Today started with going to Godloza High School in Hlabisa. Here you can see the student from the soccerteams and the netballteams, waiting to get their shoes.
And here, the teachers are calling their names and they get a pair of shoes.
The next stop for today was Ndabazamanina High School also in Hlabisa. As you can see the students are lining up to get the shoes.

The third and the last school for today was Nkanyiso High School in the same area, Hlabisa.

A lot of shoes...
It took some time, but now they are here after a long process of convincing the custom that the shoes were a gift to learners at the Star for Life schools.
As you can see it is a lot of shoes, more exactly 9000 pairs! The Stadium crew started with the distribution of them last week and now we are going to continue where they left it. First we need to sort them, so that is what we will be doing this week.
On Monday we can probably start going to some schools and hand the shoes over to the students. The teachers have been on industrial strike for about three weeks in South Africa. Yesterday was the first day back to business and that is why we have to wait until next week before visiting the schools. They have to have some time getting back to order before we come.
